So the last year has seen my life make such major changes in so many different ways. I no longer live in Seattle, or even Washington. Seeing beautiful pictures of my home can get that nagging nostalgic feeling in my heart, but to be honest, I wouldn't go back. I am living in beautiful Colorado, up in a little mountain town. Sadly I have only gotten out once to take pictures, but I hope that changes very soon. It is just an amazing place here, the kind I have always wanted to live in. Small town surrounded by wilderness. Haha, my first day here I saw a fox, and I guess my landlord has trouble keeping bears from the dumpster in the summer.

I also feel that my photography has improved, and I am always working on refining my skill. I had the chance to see more then a few places in Washington and Oregon before I left, due to the wonderful heart of an amazing friend who would just take me out to drive, and then put up with me oh! stop! back there! I hope to at some point get some of those pictures up here, but how many times have I said something like that?

For those of you who know me, you know that I have changed as a person too. I think I finally got my priorities in the right place and have a goal that I am working toward. I finally realized that I couldn't let people tell me not to pursue my dream of being a photographer and spending my life behind my camera. It is too much a part of who I am and I don't think that any other career could ever leave me with such a feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction.

Anyway, those are just the major changes that relate most to my art. Hopefully sometime soon I will start posting pictures again, it is just a matter of finding a way of getting my pictures on my computer.
